Alabama White Sauce

Creamy, tangy and peppery, this homemade Alabama White Sauce is a classic barbecue favourite that’s perfect with smoked chicken, pork, grilled meats or as a dipping sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup distilled white vinegar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon hot sauce

Equipment

  • 1 Small Bowl
  • 1 whisk
  • 1 measuring cups
  • 1 measuring spoons

Method
 

  1. Combine all ingredients to a bowl and whisk until combined.
  2. Can be used immediately, but best stored overnight in the refrigerator (will last approx. 2 weeks)
  3. Drizzle over smoked chicken wings, or great on pizza, burgers and more.
